Applicants may request to withdraw their application by submitting a form through the Support Center. Before submitting a withdrawal request, please review the information below to understand how withdrawing may affect your application and your ability to reapply.
What Happens if You Withdraw?
- Your current application will be closed, and any funds associated with the application will be returned to the Program for reallocation.
- No further action will be taken on your application unless you request to reopen your case.
- If you withdraw by mistake or change your mind, you may request to reopen your application by submitting a Submit a ticket : Support Center or calling 850-427-2559.
- A request to reopen your case must be received within 30 days of the withdrawal. After 30 days, the application will be administratively closed.
Reapplying After Withdrawal
If you received an Initial Inspection but did not receive a Grant Disbursement, you may submit a new application after your original Initial Inspection Report expires. Initial Inspection Reports expire 24 months after they occur.
If you withdraw before receiving an Initial Inspection and wish to continue with the Program, contact the Support Center to request that your case be reopened. Do not create a new application, as additional applications will be identified as a duplicate and closed.
Applicants Who Have Already Received a Grant
The MSFH Program allows each Applicant to receive only one (1) Grant Disbursement. If you have already completed the Program and received a Grant Disbursement, you are not eligible to reapply. Any additional applications submitted will be identified as a duplicate and closed.
