Once an Applicant receives an Initial Inspection Report showing the existing wind mitigation features on the home (if any), they should share it with their insurance carrier to make sure they are receiving all available discounts in home insurance premium. If an Applicant received a Grant and have completed Recommended Improvements, they should contact their insurance carrier again for any new discounts that may be available.
