Where do I select a mitigation project in the online portal?

Based on the results from the initial inspection report the homeowner can select recommended improvements that appear on the "Grant Application - Contractor Confirmation" step. You MUST select at least one project to be approved.

Only improvements recommended on the initial inspection report will be listed in the section noted above. If no improvements appear, the initial inspection report did not identify any recommended improvements. 

Homeowners without any recommended improvements on the initial inspection report are unable to move forward with the grant application process. 

PLEASE NOTE: Townhouses are only eligible to receive funding for Improvement 1.0 – Opening Protection. Single-family homes that are attached to other units will be treated as Townhouses for the purposes of My Safe FL Home.

PLEASE NOTE: Only improvements recommended by a My Safe FL Home inspector in the initial inspection report and observed in the final inspection report are eligible for funding.
