What defines a household member?

Modified on Wed, 11 Dec, 2024 at 2:30 PM

A household member is someone who claims the property as a permanent residence by using the address for one of the following:

  • Voter Registration
  • Driver’s License or other State ID
  • Vehicle Registration
  • Utilities Bills
  • Credit Cards
  • Mailing Address

PLEASE NOTE: People under 18 who live at the home are household members; household members do not necessarily need to contribute income to the household. However, if household members do earn an income, that income will need to be included on the "Income" step.
