Homeowners must provide documentation that the home has an insured value of $700,000 or less as requested in the "Grant Application" steps
An example of this documentation is the Homeowner's insurance policy's 'Declaration Page,' which should be included in your policy papers and state the insured value under Coverage A (Dwelling). Additional examples of this documentation include a quote or insurance application showing the property's address, policyholder's name, policy dates, and dwelling value.
PLEASE NOTE: Low-Income applicants must submit a letter stating they have no homeowners' insurance if they are not able to provide an insurance declarations page or quote.
